Adopt Me Trading Values – How Pet Values Work

Adopt Me does not set pet prices — players do, through trading. This page explains how community value systems work, why estimates differ between sites, and how to read a value list without treating it as official pricing.

Why community values exist

Because the game never prices pets, traders built their own systems. Most value comes from limited supply (retired eggs and event pets), demand (which pets players currently want), and form (normal, Neon or Mega versions of the same pet trade very differently).

How a value baseline works

Some community value systems use the Frost Dragon (Frost Values) as a baseline for high-tier trades — a Frost Dragon trades as "1.0", and rarer pets are quoted in frost-dragon units (for example "2 – 3" means roughly two to three frost dragons). Other value sites use completely different point systems, so a number only means something inside the system it comes from. Always check which unit a list uses before comparing figures.

Base, Neon and Mega

The same pet exists in several forms, and each trades differently:

• Normal (base) — the pet as hatched or traded.
• Neon — four grown pets combined; glows and is worth well above four separate pets.
• Mega Neon — four Neons combined; the top glow tier and the most valuable form.

A quoted value almost always refers to the base form unless the listing says Neon or Mega — a common source of overpaying.
