What does LF mean in Adopt Me?
LF means Looking For. A player writes LF before the pet or item they want, such as “LF Turtle.” It describes the target of the trade; it does not say whether the offer is fair. Check both sides separately before accepting.
Ambiguous and unverified terms
- pot — context decides: in item talk it means Potion; in age talk it can mean Post-Teen (a pet age stage).
- plat — occasionally used for a platinum-colored variant or tier; the meaning varies between servers and is not verified, so treat any plat quote with caution.
