How to check the current Winter event

The game announces events through official channels. To verify what is live right now, use these — in this order:

• Official news — playadopt.me/news posts the update notes that announce events.
• Official Discord — the announcements channel posts event start dates and content when they go live.
• Official X / YouTube — Uplift Games shares trailers and date reveals.
• In-game announcement board — while the event is running, the game itself shows it.

If none of these channels show a confirmed event, the honest statement is "Official details have not been announced yet." That is what we print here until a source confirms otherwise.

What Winter events have looked like over the years

Broad patterns only — no old reward lists are reprinted unless each row carries a source:

• A cold-season theme — snowy decor, ice styling and winter colors, in a new form each edition.
• Limited pets and items — Winter pets are time-limited and become trade-only after the event ends.
• Event currency and minigames — a seasonal grind lets players earn the limited items.
• Distinct from the Christmas slot — Winter has run as its own event in past years, separate from Christmas; the two are tracked separately here.
• Varied themes year to year — the exact pets, items and story change with each edition, so past lineups do not predict the next one.
