Why values are measured in frost dragons

One frost dragon = 1.0
Adopt Me has no official currency for pets: the game itself never prices pets against each other. Player communities long ago settled on the frost dragon as the reference unit because it is valuable, limited and widely recognized. When a value list says a pet is worth "2 – 3", it means the community roughly compares it to two or three normal frost dragons in a trade.
Estimates, not prices
Every number here is a community estimate with a date and a source, not an official price. Values shift with demand spikes, egg availability and event nostalgia — a pet retired for years can rise when an update brings it back into fashion. That is why this site labels rows "community estimate" and marks unverified figures as "needs verification" instead of inventing precision.
Normal, Neon and Mega
A Neon pet is four fully-grown copies fused (it glows), and a Mega Neon is four Neons fused (it cycles rainbow colors). Both are worth far more than the normal form — commonly several times over — because they require four identical pets times the growth time. The value tables on this site keep the three forms in separate rows.
How to read the range
A range like "1.5 – 2.5" is two independent community estimates, not a suggestion to ask for the top. Trades settle where both sides agree; a pet is typically offered near the lower end and demanded near the upper. When only one source exists, the row shows a single figure and a "needs verification" label rather than a fake range.
A quick trading checklist for new players
What to watch before you accept any trade — even with this site open.
- Check the form. A Neon or Mega Neon is worth much more than the normal pet — confirm which form is actually being offered before comparing values.
- Mind the age. A fully-grown pet is worth more than a newborn to most traders; if age matters to you, say so in the trade screen before locking in.
- Treat ranges as guidance. Community estimates move with demand. The final say is what players in the server are actually trading for right now.
- Never trade outside the game. Cross-trades, "trust trades", or cash offers in DMs are the commonest scam routes — the game's own trade scam warnings describe the patterns.

LF means "Looking For" — players write it in trading servers to say which pet or item they want to trade for. Related abbreviations: WFL (Win / Fair / Lose), FR (Fly + Ride), MFR (Mega Fly Ride), NFR (Neon Fly Ride).
What does MFR mean in Adopt Me?
MFR stands for Mega Fly Ride — a pet that is Mega Neon (four Neon pets combined), and is both Fly and Ride. NFR is the Neon Fly Ride version (one step below Mega).
How do you make a Neon pet in Adopt Me?
