Adopt Me Scams — Spot Them, Avoid Them, Report Them

Trading is the heart of Adopt Me — and scammers know it. This guide covers the most common scam patterns, how to spot them, and the official ways to report.

1. Fake free-pet offers and "generators"

Scam · Sites and videos that promise free pets

There is no working pet generator or spawn hack. Every "free pets generator" offer is a scam — they steal accounts or lead to phishing. We will never link one, and you should never enter your password anywhere promising free pets.

Legit free pets come from official gameplay: tasks, daily login, events, gifts and grinding. See the pets list and the value list.

2. Trade-swap tricks

Scam · "Trust trades", item-swap bait, or rushing you to accept

Scammers swap the pet at the last second, add an extra condition, or rush you so you do not check the trade screen twice. Always re-read the trade screen, never accept a "trust me" trade, and never give items away first.

3. Fake middlemen and fake giveaways

Scam · "I'll hold your pet" or "enter this giveaway, send your pet first"

A real giveaway never asks you to send pets or pay first. Official giveaways run on official channels only. If someone asks you to hand over an item "to enter" or "to verify", that is a scam.

4. Real-money trading

Against ToS · Buying or selling pets for real money

Real-money trades for in-game pets violate Roblox's Terms of Service and are a common source of chargeback scams. We do not provide real-money trading channels and recommend against them.

How to report a scammer

In-game: use Roblox's report player system and block the player.
Official support: Roblox support and Adopt Me official terms.
Never share your password or give "verification codes" to anyone.

What we don't confirm

Whether a specific player is a scammer — we do not name individuals.
"Working" hacks or generators — none exist, and we will never publish or link them.
