How to use the Adopt Me journal

Treat the journal as a personal notebook, not a progression system. A simple entry can record the date, the pet or trade you are thinking about, what changed, and your next goal. You can keep one running log or give each pet, event or collection its own page.

The journal does not require a special format, unlock a secret reward, or calculate a trade value for you. Use the value list separately when you need a dated community estimate, then record the context in your journal.

Journal themes to try

Pet care log — track feeding, showers and age progress for the pets you are growing.
Trade journal — write down offers you made, offers you declined and why.
Collection tracker — list the pets, eggs and items you own and what you are hunting next.
Hatch log — record every egg you hatch and what came out.
Event diary — note what each update and event added while it is live.
Name ideas list — keep pet name ideas so you never blank on a new pet.
Goal & budget page — set a target pet and track what you are willing to trade toward it.

Layout ideas

Date-first entries — start every entry with the date so you can look back at progress.
One pet per page — a dedicated page for each pet's care and trade history.
Value snapshot section — jot down current community estimates with dates; values shift.
Sticker & color zones — use one color per theme so pages are scannable.
